The Arca-type compatible L-bracket can mount in both a vertical or horizontal orientation. Also, on the bottom of each axis are located dual safety stops as a precaution against the L-bracket from sliding out if the quick release clamp is partially opened by accident.The camera mounts to the bracket via a 1/4"-20 male threaded screw, and the anti-twist lip on the plate prevents and minimizes any movement between the camera and the bracket. The camera's ports are completely accessible, but the 1/4"-20 mounting screw can loosen and readjust to allow the camera to slide apart to give more room for other cables.
