Rig up your Sony Alpha a6300, a6400, or a6500 digital camera with this Formfitting Cage from SmallRig. With its full-frame design this cage protects your camera while providing numerous 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI locating holes for mounting accessories. You can use the cage's mounting points to customize your setup with your choice of optional accessories such as a wooden handle, monitor, microphone, light, cold shoe, cable clamp, lens adapter support, and more.The cage connects to your camera via a 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom, and uses an M2.5 thread on the right side as a second locking point to prevent camera wiggle. There are several 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the bottom for mounting the cage on a separately available tripod plate. An included flat head screwdriver makes for quick installation and attaches to the bottom of the cage. On the right side there are slots for attaching an optional carry strap.

With the 1/4'' thread on left side, you could mount a SMALLRIG HDMI Cable Clamp 1693 to protect the HDMI plug.
Except for the 1/4'' screw on bottom, the cage features a m2.5 thread as a second lock point on the right side, which could prevent the camera from twisting.
This a6400 cage is equipped with two rubber cushions on bottom, which could increase friction between camera and cage. Also, the rubber cushions could protect camera body from scratching.
Turn over the cage, you will find a flat screw driver with magnets underneath. Now you don't need to remind yourself of taking a coin before going out shooting.
You could use the screw driver to secure and loosen the cage.
