The formfitting 1981 5" Monitor Cage Accessory Kit from SmallRig is designed to support and protect your Blackmagic Video Assist monitor/recorder. This kit includes the aluminum alloy SmallRig 1726 cage, a dedicated sunshade, an HDMI cable clamp, a ball head mount, screws, and an Allen wrench.
The formfitting SmallRig 1726 Cage offers dedicated support and protection for your 5" Blackmagic Design Video Assist onboard monitor/HD recorder. This sturdy aluminum cage features a top NATO rail and multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI-style threads for mounting accessories.
The included clamp secures your HDMI cable from accidentally detaching, and slots on both sides of the cage enable you to attach a carrying strap if desired. The 1726 Cage can be paired with the separately available 1821 Sunshade when glare protection is required.
This SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp is designed for use with select SmallRig camera rigs. When attached to the camera cage, this clamp prevents unintentional disconnection of the HDMI cable from the camera and helps protect from the possibility of damaging your camera's fragile HDMI port.
