Protect and add accessories to your a7 series mirrorless camera with the 1815 Camera Cage for Sony a7/a7S/a7R from SmallRig. This formfitting cage features a variety of accessory mounting options and maintains access to both the camera's controls and hot shoe.
In addition to two cold shoes and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the 1815 cage features several ARRI-style accessory threads for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. A single ARRI-style rosette enables you to mount a separately available handgrip or handle. The bottom of this anti-twist cage is designed to mount onto compatible Arca-Swiss-style bases.

SMALLRIG Camera Cage for SONY a7 / a7S / a7R 1815 is designed to enhance the video-making capabilities of your Sony A7 series cameras by adding many mounting points for your camera rigs. The CNC-machined aluminum cage protects your camera and you have access to SD card slot, battery compartment, and all camera controls.
This cage features two built-in cold shoes and locating hole for ARRI standard on the top of the cage, so that you could attach a SMALLRIG Magic Arm 1497 or Ballhead Mount 761 for monitor.
There are two locating holes for ARRI standard on cage, which enable to attach a magic arm (SMALLRIG Magic Arm 2115) or a handle (SMALLRIG Handle 2165).
It comes with two strap holes on right side, so that you could add a wrist strap to the cage.
It features a quick plate for Arca Swiss on the bottom, so it is quick and easy to mount it onto a tripod with Arca dovetail clamp.
The rosette mount for ARRI standard allows for attaching a rosette handle on the right side for better handheld shooting.
