Weighing in at just 1.4 lb, the Off road tripod is an excellent choice for backpacking, hiking and just about every outdoor photographic adventure. Three-section twist-to-lock telescoping legs support 5.5 lb, and reach a maximum height of 40". When folded down the tripod measures 24".
Each leg has a walking stick style spiked foot that can be covered with the included rubber feet, or sand/snow baskets keeping it stable on a variety of surfaces. Adding to its compactness is its minimum diameter of just 2" when collapsed. The built-in ball head has a single locking knob to control the ball movement, a thumb screw to secure a camera to the mounting plate, and a bubble level to help align your frame to the horizon.
