The 6061 aluminum parts are CNC machined and hard anodized, making the surface tough against scratching or scuffing. With the tripod's three variable leg angles, it allows you to splay the legs completely out, so the support can drop to a minimum height of 3.5". At the tripod's apex, the spider has been hollowed out, which adds to the relevance of the tripod's light weight.
