A 3D-printable camera support, the edelkrone PocketSHOT 3D, once fully assembled, folds and configures into multiple different supports, including a chest-balanced rig, top handle, selfie stick, monopod, and more. Also, it has a belt groove that lets you rest it on your belt or the waistline of your clothing to achieve a point of balance that way. It has a camera platform in two locations, each with a 1/4"-20 mounting screw, and it supports up to 5 lb loads. The PocketSHOT 3D is one of the initial products edelkrone has released as part of its 3D-printable product development initiative. It's an economical, partly DIY solution. What you receive is a small box featuring screws and similar small components—these are standard CNC-machined parts that are not 3D-printed. At the same time, a 3D-printable download file is provided that contains all the specs for printing the remaining components, which you can print in the colors of your choice. Along with this, a downloadable assembly guide is provided.Simply take the 3D-printable file to a vendor offering 3D printing services and print out all these components, or print them out on your own 3D printer. Then just put everything together using the assembly instructions. edelkrone has tested and approved the following 3D printers: Ultimaker, Prusa i3 MK3S, and Zaxe.PocketSHOT 3D folds in on itself and can be packed away very compact, or it can be kept mounted on the bottom of your camera at all times, ready for deployment, and it's highly lightweight thanks to the 3D-printed design.
